A group of important ecosystem builders took the stage at Disrupt Europe to give us a picture of the European tech landscape. The common thread was about the current state of the ecosystem compared to five years ago. Things have changed dramatically — and in a good way.
Carlos Eduardo Espinal from Seedcamp, Rohan Silva from Second Home, Tine Thygesen from Everplaces, and Jason Whitmire from Earlybird shared their past experience in London and elsewhere. The conversation was about successful startups in Europe, VC and angel investments, what the government should do to help startups, and what it’s like to create a startup in Europe.
