According to the monitoring of MOFCOM, the prices of farm produce and prices of production means in circulation in 36 large and medium-sized cities dropped slightly last week (June 15 -21).
Last week, the average price of 18 kinds of vegetables went down 1.4%, with the prices of cucumber, tomato and pepper down 9.4%, 3.6% and 3.1% respectively compared with the previous week. The prices of edible oil fluctuated slightly, with that of soybean oil and rapeseed oil down 0.3% and 0.1% respectively, while peanut oil remaining the same. The prices of egg and poultry fluctuated, with the price of egg down 0.5% and that of chicken up 0.2%. The price of grain kept steady, with the prices of flour remaining unchanged and rice going up 0.2% week on week. The prices of aquatic products rose 0.2%, with small yellow croaker, carp and large yellow croaker going up 2%, 0.9% and 0.7% respectively. The prices of meat picked up slightly, with the price of pork, mutton and beef up 1.3%, 0.5% and 0.4% respectively.
Last week, the prices of nonferrous metals fell 2.7%, among which nickel, copper, zinc, lead, aluminum, lead, and tin dropped 4.5%, 3.5%, 3.3%, 1.5%, 1.5% and 0.7% respectively. The prices of steel slipped 1.1%, with common middle plate and deformed steel bar down 1.5% and 1.3% respectively. The prices of coal dropped 0.5%, with steam coal, anthracite and coking coal down 0.6%, 0.4% and 0.2% respectively. The price of basic chemical raw materials rose 0.1%, with the prices of sulfuric acid up 1.2% and sodium carbonate down 1.1%. The prices of rubber went up 0.4%, with natural rubber going down 0.4% and synthesis rubber going up 1.4%. The prices of chemical fertilizer were up 0.4%, with the prices of urea and NPK up 0.8% and 0.3% respectively, DAP down 0.1%, and potassium chloride remaining the same as the previous week.
