Make your blown out incandescent light bulbs worth something by turning them into a bold and interesting lamp piece. Not only do these little lamps look cool and industrial, they also will last you a lifetime. Just a few easy steps and you’re done!

First, take a drill and tap out the black glass bottom and extract the insides of the bulb. Then, place sand and water inside the bulb and swirl around to flake off the inner white coating, then rinse out to get rid of everything so you’re left with a clear bulb.
