Agilent Technologies has upped the memory and added serial data decode capabilitiues to its InfiniiVision 2000 X-Series of lower cost oscilloscopes.
The X-Series scopes how come with up to 1M of memory per channel and a choice of low-cost serial decoding options for embedded systems designers, automotive and aerospace manufacturers.
There is now hardware support for serial decoding and triggering for I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN, I2S, and RS-232.
The intention is to offer "customers a way to make excellent oscilloscope measurements affordably," said Jay Alexander, general manager of Agilent's oscilloscope business.
InfiniiVision 2000 X-Series offers bandwidths from 70MHz to 200MHz.
There is also an option to add a mixed-signal capability for time-aligned digital and analogue signal viewing, an optional integrated function generator, a digital voltmeter, and optional hardware-accelerated serial protocol analysis.
Agilent is offering a five-year factory warranty, which is two years longer than the previous warranty.
