Label Is a Piece of Tag That Gives Identity to The Product

Label is a piece of tag that gives identity to the product. Without labels a product is not complete. Label contains all the necessary information about the product that is affixed to. It contains information such as how to use the product, company name, logo, date of manufacture, expiry, cost of the product etc. So labeling is a process of fixing tag to the products. To label products we need a machine or a dispenser. Label dispenser is used in many industries such as food, pharmaceutical, electronics etc. The process of labeling in earlier days was very difficult for both the manufacturer and the laborers. After the invention of label dispensers the task of labeling was very easy which reduced the work of laborers.

In earlier days the laborers were to do the process of labeling manually which had many disadvantages. They are:

2. More laborers were involved in the process.
3. Wastage of materials.
4. The finishing of labeling was not proper.
5. The labels were getting dirtied during this process.

So to avoid these problems label dispensers were invented.

There are three types of bottler dispenser which includes automatic, semi-automatic and manual. Before looking into its types let us briefly discuss about the advantages of bottle labeler:

Automatic label dispenser:

This is the latest technology used in the process of labeling. It promises efficient work. This machine does not cost more and also reduces the work of laborers. It is reliable and well organized to satisfy the manufacturer. Large amount of labels can be affixed in minimum time. Operating this system is very simple so it does not require training for laborers to use it. We can affix any size or shape label through the use of automatic label dispenser. These are digital machine that labels the product when it reaches the conveyor belt.

Semi-automatic label dispenser:

There are many types of label dispensers available such as u-25, u-45, u-60, dm-2, dispensa-sheet and Selecta-matic d5 multi roll. Each one differs as its own advantages. Semi-automatic dispensers are widely used in medium sized manufacturing concern. In this process a person has to place the product in the carriage and wait till the product is labeled. A person has to check whether the product is labeled without any folds. Again the semi- automatic machine is divided into 2 types namely front/back, product eject. In front/back the labels are attached to the product on both the sides.

Manual label dispenser:

This type of labeler is used in small scale industries. When the demand is low for certain products at times these type of dispenser can be used. This process is little slow compared to other two types of dispensers. During this process a person has to pull out the label tag to affix them in the product.
