The Standard of Safety of Hand-Held Motor-Operated Electric Tools - Part 2

The standard of Safety of Hand-held Motor-operated Electric Tools - Part 2: Particular Requirements for Screwdrivers and Impact Wrenches and the other 8 stands part 2 have been released on Nov. 5th, 2012, then taken effect on May 1st, 2013 to instead of old version. The details are as follows.

1. The new standard would be adopted since this notice released.

2. For clients who hold old version certificate should submit the changing application since the notice released and before next follow-up inspection, then take differentia test. The new version certificate will be issued if the product meets new standard.

3. The sample test of motor-operated electric tools involved in this version changing should takes 2 major models and other covered model follow the sample notice.  

4. The old certificates changing should be completed by May. 1st , 2014. If the certificates were not transferred on time, they would be postponed. If they failed to be replaced before April 1st, 2014, they would be withdrawn.
