Switches for appliances standards GB15092.1-2010 "Switches for appliances –Part 1: General requirements"(hereinafter referred to as new standard) was released on Jan. 14th,2011 , and it will be taken into effect on Dec. 1st,2011 instead of GB15092.1-2003 (hereinafter referred to as old standard). Some related requirement as follows,
1. Scope for version changing
For the products that have obtained CQC voluntary certificates which issued according to GB15092.1 (except for combine with GB15092.2,GB15092.3,GB15092.4)
2. Requirements for new standard
The application can be accepted by old or new standard before Dec. 1st, 2011. After that, it must be according to new standard, and issued the new version certificate.
3. Requirements for certificate changing
For the old version certificate holders, they should submit the changing application after the notice release and accept differentia test, then the new version certificates will be issued if the product meets standards. The old certificates changing should be completed by Dec. 1st, 2012. If the certificates were not transferred on time, they would be postponed. If they failed to be replaced, they would be withdrawn.
