Google Publishes The Relative Number of Devices

Every month Google publishes the relative number of (active) devices running a given version of the Android platform, and the figures for the last month have just been released.

The main points of interest this month are that Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean I) has inched up to a 15% share. Also the long dominant version of Android, v4.3.x ("Gingerbread") - which has represented the first major emergence of Android and has continued in entry-level phones - has finally been overtaken by Android 4.x ("Ice Cream Sandwich" and "Jelly Bean") devices...

Here are the detailed version figures, showing last month's figures for comparison:

1.6 Donut (unchanged) 0.2%
2.1 Eclair (was 2.2) 1.9%
