Packaging company Rexam has produced two new cans for Brazil-based brewery Brasil Kirin's Eisenbahn beer.
The new cans are said to be the first ones developed using Rexam's Editions Super Premium technology, which allows production of about 24 different label artworks per pallet at the same time.
According to Rexam, the technology allows printing of detailed images by using various color shades and gradients.
The 16oz cans, which are produced at the company's Jacarei plant in Brazil, feature six different labels showing important people and events from the beer's history.
Rexam Beverage Can South America marketing specialist Bruna Resano said the company aims to bring excitement to the market with the possibility of mixing various artworks.
"It's an opportunity for our customers to create a unique, collectable and even customised product for the end consumer," Resano added.
Rexam also produced 9oz cans for Brasil Kirin's ECCO! energy drinks. The cans, which are also produced at the company's Jacareí plant, feature HD printing with UV white and red lumiset inks. This makes the can glow in the dark.
