Salmolux,a seafood firm based in Washington,US,has introduced new packaging and look for its Sea Passion brand.The company will also be launching new products under the brand.
The new products will be hot and cold smoked Steelhead,which will be sourced from parent company Pacific Seafood's own farm on the Columbia River,reported Pershablenews.com.
Pacific Seafood marketing director Bob O'Bryant said the initial launch of the Sea Passion brand was well received in the marketplace and some store sales showed a noticeable increase.
"Our packaging needed an update and I believe we have captured not only the character of our quality and tradition,but a look that will attract new consumers to our line of products,"O'Bryant added.
Salmolux,was purchased by Pacific Seafood in late 2009 from the Kuetgens family,is a processor of quality smoked and gourmet seafood products.
