Venture Foods UK is recalling its Vegan Organica Marzipan & Dark Chocolate Bar as the product may contain milk, peanuts and other nuts which are not mentioned on the label, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
People sensitive to milk, peanuts or other nuts may be at risk of allergic reaction, if they consume the product.
The product subject to recall is Vegan Organica Marzipan & Dark Chocolate Bar, 40g, and features 'Best before' date: 1 July 2014 and batch code: 41313.
The company has recalled the above product from consumers and has contacted the relevant allergy support organizations, which will inform their members about the reason behind the recall.
No other Venture Foods UK products are known to be affected.
Consumers who have purchased the above mentioned product are advised not consume it and instead return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
