C.H. Robinson Worldwide Joins Hands with Aarp and Aarp Foundation

Produce sourcing and logistics company C.H. Robinson Worldwide has joined hands with AARP and AARP Foundation to offer newly designed packaging on Tropicana clementines at retailers across the US, to support the Drive to End Hunger initiative.

The packaging, which is available on three-pound bags and five-pound race CARtons, will include imagery of the campaign's spokesperson, four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon and the No 24 Drive to End Hunger Chevrolet.

The packaging, which has been specially designed, is made available as part of the company's support of the initiative.

Both packaging options consist of a Quick Response (QR) code, which sends users to a AARP Foundation website that is secure and where direct donations can be made to the initiative.

C.H. Robinson fruit category manager James Rasmussen said the initiative offers new packaging to shoppers to raise awareness and will also the company to give back to an important cause.

"We are proud to be able to put C.H. Robinson's expertise in the produce industry to work with AARP Foundation in their campaign against hunger," Rasmussen said.
