Chinese auto maker XCMG has commenced production at its $406m heavy truck manufacturing facility at Xuzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone in China.
The facility is spread across 228 acres of land, and it has production capacity of 60,000 heavy trucks and 40,000 construction machinery cabs, and it also has an innovative coating workshops in the facility.
Apart from opening the doors of the facility, the company also introduced a new high-end truck model dubbed HANVAN, which is expected to be more safer, more comfortable and economic when compared to other truck models.
According to XCMG, HANVAN will provide high degree of comfort for the drivers, as it is equipped with several control technologies and noise-proofing devices capable of reducing the indoor noise up to five decibels lower.
It also features Active warning and lighting systems and optimal dynamic system to reduce the wind-resistance coefficient.
