Sanluis Rassini Is Supplying Suspension Components and Rotors for The 2014 Model Year

Automotive components supplier Sanluis Rassini is supplying suspension components and rotors for the 2014 model year Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra vehicles under a contract from General Motors (GM).

Scope of supply included leaf springs, coil springs and brake rotors for GM's two vehicle models.

According to the company, the rotors feature an anticorrosive heat treatment called Ferritic Nitro-Carburizing (FNC) which is claimed to improve the life of the rotor and also reduce noise as well as vibration.

Sanluis Rassini North America CEO Eugenio Madero said the company has worked closely with GM to offer products and technology wanted by the end consumers in their trucks.

"As trucks sales continue to exceed expectations, we've seen continued growth and tremendous opportunity not only within the industry but in our company as well," Madero added.

The automotive supplier manufacture components for light commercial vehicles including the leaf spring design in North America and expects to increase its brakes business by two times until 2016.
