Irish Paper-based packaging provider Smurfit Kappa is all set to introduce a new range of Pouch-Up products in two shapes. One pouch comes with a single gusset at the base, while the other has a gusset at the bottom and top.
New formats of 1L and 1.5L double gusset have been added to the current range, which includes 1L, 1.5L, 1.75L and 3L single gusset, 1L, 1.5L and 1.75L double gussets formats.
According to the company, the Double gusset Pouch-Up offers benefits including convenience and a low carbon footprint.
The company supplies three different film structures - Triplex PET MET, Triplex EVOH, and Quadruplex Aluminium based on customer needs.
The film and the Vitop compact tap provide an oxygen barrier, allowing the drink within to stay fresher for longer. The light, unbreakable and easy to use Pouch-Up is expected to address the growing needs of on-the-go consumption.
