Packaging, label and publishing papers manufacturer Twin Rivers Paper has announced the addition of a new oil and grease-resistant paper to its portfolio, which is used in food service and quick serve restaurant (QSR) packaging.
According to the US-based company, the new fluorochemical-free, Acadia EcoBarrier offers similar functionality and performance advantages of the Acadia brand.
Twin Rivers Paper business development and marketing director Dave Deger said Acadia EcoBarrier answers the need of the QSR and food service industry, which look for fluorochemical-free alternatives for their packaging designs.
"We believe this product will play an important role in the future as part of our comprehensive and growing portfolio of packaging papers," Deger said.
Twin Rivers' Acadia is an uncoated machine-finished paper and is available in a basis weight range of 15-75lbs.
