Milpitas,CA–Intersil Corporation(NASDAQ Global Select:ISIL)today announced a new series of ultra-low dropout linear regulators that delivers the industry's lowest full-load dropout voltage.
Intersil's ISL80111,ISL80112 and ISL80113 are specified for 1A,2A and 3A output currents,and are optimized for precision low voltage regulation.Each includes a very low resistance NMOS pass transistor,and the ISL80113 can deliver an ultra-low 75mV dropout voltage at 3A.The devices'1.6%output voltage accuracy,80dB power supply rejection ratio(PSRR)and 100uVrms noise result in exceptional output voltage regulation.The LDO regulators also deliver best-in-class transient response,minimizing the amount of output capacitance.
All three LDOs have identical footprints,giving designers flexibility with load current demands that often change during product development.
