Flexible and rigid packaging converter in the US Printpack Medical has expanded its medical device packaging products range to include chevron pouches. The new range is used to pack medical devices, hospital supplies and labware.
The range is attuned with ethylene oxide gas, radiation and e-beam sterilization, healthcarepackaging.com reported.
Produced using latest equipment available at Printpack Medical's center of excellence in Marshall, North Carolina, the chevron sterilizable pouches match the company's current line of products.
The products include forming-films, breathable top webs, header bags, film and foil laminations and polystyrene sheet for rigid trays.
Medical pouches include paper-to-film, film-to-film, Tyvek and the Kwikbreathe pouch, which has been engineered to offer abrasion resistance qualities besides providing breathability.
The medical device packaging solutions of Printpack are based on its technology platforms including DirectSeal and Kwikbreathe.
