Venezuela-based packaging firm Empresas Polar has installed and started operation at a new production line from Italy-based technology provider Sacmi at the Bodegas Pomar plant.
The new production line is capable of producing about 6,900 bottles of Sangrìa Carore a per hour that are made of PET and have a capacity of 1.75l each.
The line includes filler with relative conveyor belts from Sacmi Filling, the new labeler-sealer from Sacmi Verona as well as the bundler and palletizer made by Sacmi Packaging.
With the installation, the Empresas Polar has increased its output capacity on the bottling lines.
The Bodegas Pomar plant is said to feature automation that will allow the company to increase its output from 160,000 to 240,000 bottles per month.
