Romaco has developed the new Macofar LF 200 product family for filling liquids into bottles to address the pharma sector’s growing demand for high-speed machines.
The machine is expected to achieve a maximum output of 200 bottles a minute, when installed in an in-line configuration with the continuous motion cartoner Promatic PC 4200, which is said to be the ideal packaging solution for pharmaceutical liquids.
According to the global packaging technologies supplier, the machine can be used to handle 16mm to 90mm diameter and 35mm to 200mm height bottles with a filling volume of 0.5ml to 500ml.
All parts of the compact machine are optimally accessible and easy to clean.
The Macofar LF 200 enables fitting of plastic or aluminum screw caps with various inserts such as pipettes or sprays. Its cGMP-compliant balcony design removes cross-contamination of all kinds.
The company will display its new technology at Pharmintech in Bologna/Italy from 17 to 19 April 2013.
