Swiss car maker Rinspeed is planning to unveil its self driving car named Budii at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
Rinspeed has teased the car design with two sketches of the vehicle which will be electrically powered and will include advanced features to provide a pleasant ride.
According to Rinspeed, the car will have capabilities to adapt to the habits and preferences of its driver and will take data from its environment.
It is also expected to include experiences of other vehicles along its route to improve its own performance.
The car will be capable of handling daily routine trips and will be equipped with a sensitive robot arm which will take care of the steering.
Driver will be able to regain control of the car, but in case the robot arm and the driver fail to steer, Budii will come to an automatic stop, the company said.
Rinspeed founder Frank M. Rinderknecht said: "We should not develop a blind, but rather a healthy faith in the new capabilities of the hardware and software.
"They will keep learning each day, and as a result will get better and better at mastering the complex challenges of modern-day private transport."
