Oliver Healthcare Packaging has opened a new 68,000ft2 manufacturing facility in Suzhou, China, to expand its operations in the regions.
The new Chinese facility will be used for pouch making, roll stock converting, including slitting and printing, die-cut lid manufacturing and mounting card production.
Oliver’s new facility also includes testing lab and technical service center, microbiological lab, as well as warehouse and distribution facilities.
According to the company, the manufacturing activities will be carried out within an ISO-7 certified clean room environment at the facility, and all equipment was built and validated to meet ISO 13485 quality specifications.
As part of the firm’s global expansion plans, Oliver will open a technical service center and lab in Galway, Ireland, by the end of this year.

Based in Grand Rapids of Michigan, Oliver provides sterile barrier flexible packaging solutions to the customers in the healthcare industry.
The company supplies pouches, lidding, roll stock, and mounting cards, which helps to protect medical devices and pharmaceutical products across the sterilization, shipment and storage processes.
Oliver also produces Xhale and SealScience adhesive solutions that protect seal integrity, helping to improve seal integrity.
