Global producer of speciality substrates Innovia Films is set to introduce new options for high barrier and coated BOPP (Propafilm) and the company’s compostable cellulose-based (NatureFlex) products.
Innovia said its films become part of the packaging, labeling or overwrap solution for some of the brands across a wide variety of everyday consumer goods. They include chocolates, perfume, cheese, teabags, shampoo, cigarettes, beer and biscuits.
Recently, Germany-based Ulrich Walter selected Innovia's NatureFlex film to wrap its organic Lebensbaum Tea.
The company will exhibit its products at FachPack packaging exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany to be held from 25-27 September 2012.
Innovia Films manufactures Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) and Cellulose substrates and has production sites in the UK, USA, Australia and Belgium.
