Skoda to Unveil SUV Visions at The Geneva International Motor Show

Skoda is planning to unveil its new SUV, VisionS at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show

The company unveiled a new design language with VisionC design study in 2014 and it will now reflect the SUV segment.

The company says that in the name VisionS the 'S' stands for SUV and it gives hint about how Skoda's SUVs could look like in future.

The length of the new SUV is expected to be larger than its 2015 SUV model Yeti.

The total length of the SUV is expected to be 4.7m and a width of 1.91m and height of 1.68m.

Skoda said that it has maintained its traditional style of large interiors. VisionS has three rows of seats, enough room for six passengers.

The exterior of the SUV has also been updated to reflect the brand's emotional appeal. The edges and lines are clear, precise and sharp. The bonnet has also been designed to incorporate the use of plastics with contours flowing towards the brand logo.

The air grille is wide with four tapered and high-set LED headlights give a special character to the vehicle.

The wheel arches have also been designed to be angular which give the SUV an off-road character. The sloping roofline with the long spoiler and drawn-in rear can visually accelerate the car, even when it is stationary.

At the rear, the presence of a strong diffuser insert borders the large exhaust pipes, provide a powerful stance to the SUV. The logo and the small headlights sit just beneath the low rear window.
