German car maker Volkswagen has unveiled the new Golf R Cabriolet, open-top R model of the Golf.
The vehicle is powered by a four-cylinder 2L engine paired to six-speed DSG gearbox that generates 265ps output with the front wheel drive and offers top speed of 155mph with acceleration of 0-62mph in 6.4S.
Features of the vehicle include electric insulated hood that can be operated by a switch in the centre console and can be lowered in 9.5S at speeds of about 18mph and raised in 11S.
The car comes with RCD 310 DAB radio with multi-device interface (MDI), bluetooth connectivity, modified front bumper with gloss-black grille and 'R' logo, LED daytime running lights and bi-xenon headlights with black housings.
With the R-suspensions lowered by 25mm the cabriolet has 18inch or 19inch Talladega alloy wheels in either Sterling Silver or optionally High-gloss Black.
In addition, the car has gloss-black door mirror casings, black-painted brake calipers with R logo, side sill extensions, a gloss black rear diffuser framed by chrome-tipped exhausts and smoked LED tail lights.
