Pacepacker Services, a designer and manufacturer of packaging equipment in the UK, has enhanced its Blu-Robot systems range by introducing a new range of second-user pick and place solutions.
The pre-owned Blu-Robot range, which is claimed to be suitable for various applications, incorporates different gripper end effectors that pick-up and place singular or multiple tubs, trays, netted products, bulk bags and boxes in excess of 30 cycles per minute.
Pacepacker Services managing director Dennis Allison said the range offers an economical automation solution for budget conscious manufacturers in the UK.
"Automation can be cost prohibitive, for low volume or seasonal packers," Allison said.
The system, which is about 35% of the way through its expected lifespan, incorporates a Fanuc robotic arm.
