Linköping University spin-off Graphensic AB of Mjrdevi Science Park, Linköping, Sweden, a supplier of graphene on silicon carbide (SiC), has appointed Jonas Nilsson as chairman of the board.

Prior to joining Graphensic, Nilsson was CEO of SP Devices. As CEO of SP Devices, Nilsson helped develop the firm from a university spin off to a commercial organisation.
“Graphensic is an exciting young company with a great potential in a market that can offer tremendous opportunities. It will be exciting to see how we can bring the company to the next level,” said Nilsson.
Recently, graphene research received EUR1bn funding from the European Commission as one of Europe’s first 10-year, EUR1’000m Future Emerging Technologies (FET) flagships.
