German adhesives manufacturer Henkel has teamed up with CMS Technology to unveil new food-safe additives for packaging.
The companies have entered into a strategic alliance in North America to develop packaging solutions that keep food safe from harmful bacteria.
Henkel paper converting, graphic arts and construction vice president Dietrich Crail said, "This commitment extends beyond adhesives to the whole package. Our relationship with CMS is one of several steps we are taking to provide a holistic packaging solution for our customers."

Henkel has presence in the consumer and industrial segments under Persil, Schwarzkopf and Loctite brands.
CMS Technology is a specialty chemical company that offers microbial resistant solutions for food, packaging and material applications.
