Pharmaceutical packaging solutions provider Bilcare has entered into a €1.7bn agreement with United Drug.
As part of the agreement, United Drug will acquire Bilcare's Global Clinical Supplies (GCS) business in UK and US for $61m.
The agreement will enable Bilcare GCS Asia to use United Drug capabilities and resources in US and Europe.
It is also expected to help the companies to use their sources in meeting the global customers across the world.
The agreement will also allow Bilcare to focus its resources and meet customer expectations, according to Bilcare.
