Packaging company Robinson said it wrote off Scotlast investment of euro500,000, as it had not been successful in achieving its business plans.
Scotplast was hit by reduced revenues and margins, owing to higher raw material prices.
According to Packaging News, Robinson finance director Guy Robinson said Scotplast is still in existence.
"It needs some form of restructuring, we believe, to survive going forward. It has clearly struggled with revenue and margins in the current environment, said Robinson.
