Renault Has Recalled Over 60,000 Units of The Koleos SUV in China

French automaker Renault has recalled over 60,000 units of the Koleos sport-utility vehicles (SUV) in China over a defective fuel sensor.

According to China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine the recall affects 61,508 SUV models made from 16 December 2008 to 10 July 2012 and imported into China.

The company will replace the fuel sensors of the vehicles that display wrong fuel-level readings and could pose a safety risk.

In January 2013, the company had recalled 5,097 units of the Koleos vehicles in China because of a welding flaw.

Earlier, the automobile manufacturer had launched the Dacia Duster 4x2 in France, which is powered by the 1.6L 16V LPG petrol or LPG engine that generates output of 105hp while emitting 146g of CO2/km.
