DuPont is getting new equipment at its Packaging & Industrial Polymers' development laboratory, which is located in Wilmington, Delaware, US.
DuPont's global application development manager Ann Hriciga a pilot-scale, nine-layer blown film line will be ready and running by the first quarter of 2013.
"For our customers, it's always a balancing act of performance, of cost, and, increasingly, sustainability," Hriciga said.
With the development lab, the company will help customers prioritize and balance the requirements.
