Packaging manufacturer North State Flexibles has announced plans to expand its operations in Greensboro, North Carolina, US with an investment of over $6m over the next three years.
The City of Greensboro, Guilford County, and the State of North Carolina's 'One NC Fund' have announced incentives of $30,750, $30,750 and $61,500 respectively, to support the company's growth.
According to North State Flexibles, the One NC Fund incentive is provided when local, matching funds are committed, and all incentives are said to be performance-based, contingent on the company accomplishing growth targets.
As part of its growth plans, the company will also create 41 new jobs in the region.
The company is a subsidiary of St. Johns Packaging and produces the packaging and labeling for products such as diapers, pet food, bread, beauty care products and other products contained in flexible packaging.
