Pro Mach division Axon is set to introduce an integrated system for tamper evident band applications at Texas Pack 2014, which will be held on 7 and 8 May 2014 in Fort Worth.
According to the company, the integrated system comprises EZ-100 applicator, along with a Thermoray heat tunnel.
With its electro-pneumatic film control system, the EZ-100 allows quick and easy changeover to different container sizes and shapes and also serves as a solution for companies with multiple SKUs.
The EZ-100 also includes guillotine knife system that cuts film lengths precisely, Allen-Bradley PLC, and an intuitive operator interface for easy operation.
To ensure uniform heat distribution and shrinkage on a compact footprint, the Thermoray shrink tunnel uses infrared heating elements with an integrated fan.
Within a compact and 9ft footprint, the EZ-100 and Thermoray combination is said to be a better tamper evident solution.
