Automated weighing and packaging equipment supplier Ishida Europe is all set to introduce its range of seafood packing solutions at Seafood Processing taking place from 23 to 25 April 2013 in Brussels, Belgium.
Ishida's QX-775-Flex tray sealer to be displayed at the expo combines a compact design with better speeds for Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) trays of up to 15 cycles per minute.
The system is suitable for all types of fish and seafood products, as it is compatible with various packaging applications including standard MAP, skinpack and shrink film. It also occupies less floor space.
The company will also exhibit its DACS-G Checkweigher, which is capable of better speeds. The system can switch between two weighing ranges and allows fish processors to handle more products on one machine.
Ishida's IX-GA-4075 X-ray inspection system has the capability to detect a variety of contaminants including metal, glass, bones, shells, stones, hard rubber and plastic. The self-learning Genetic Algorithm (GA) technology of the system offers maximum detection sensitivity and reliability.
