Supermarket chain Dave’s Marketplace has purchased QuickLabel’s Kiaro! inkjet label printer for use in printing custom labels for its prepared foods and fresh cut produce items.
Dave's Marketplace used the label printer to print over 10,000 custom labels digitally for fresh cut produce, prepared meals, specialty meats and other grocery items.
With the purchase of the new label printer, the supermarket chain saw increased sales from its custom-labeled grocery items.
Kiaro! prints at a speed of eight inches per second at 1200 dpi. The system includes one seat of Custom QuickLabel Omni labeling software, a printer driver for Windows 7/Vista/XP (32 and 64 bit), a USB 2.0 cable, a starter set of CMYK Kiaro! inks and a starter roll of labels.
