Paper and paper products manufacturer Sappi Southern Africa has updated and refreshed the packaging for Typek brand, which currently is available in red and white packaging.
Sappi Southern Africa chief executive officer Alex Thiel said consumers, when making their paper purchases, increasingly identify with environmental endorsements used on packaging, as identified by a market research, graphicrepro.co.za reported.
'By incorporating a value statement on the reams in "customer friendly" visual language, consumers can be assured of Sappi's commitment to minimise our impact on the environment," Thiel said.
Consumers can identify Typek with being a responsible and sustainable paper product as it has been updated using green color and environmental icons that are expressive.
According to the company, the pack's new recyclable and biodegradable wrapper material has been designed with visual appeal to protect the product integrity.
Produced at Enstra Mill in Springs near Johannesburg, South Africa, Typek is suitable for use in inkjet and laser printers, photocopiers and fax machines.
The range comprises Typek White, Typek 50 per cent Recycled, Typek Tints, Typek White Board and Typek pastel rainbow packs.
