Irish supplier of cleanroom sterilised packaging solutions SteriPack has announced the opening of its first North American facility in Lakeland, Florida, US.
The facility helps SteriPack to provide converted products in Europe, Asia and in the Americas using the same processes and quality systems in each facility offering continuity in supply to global customers using flexible packaging.
SteriPack USA will offer clean room manufactured pouches, header bags, steriBags, die cut lids and rollstock, contract manufacturing and other new packaging products for the medical industry.
SteriPack USA president Tony Paolino said the company has been exploring several options in the US for the past three years to find the ideal situation and location.
"The facility is a "first in class" operation and draws on the nearly 20 years of experience that SteriPack has manufacturing converted products and providing contract manufacturing services in a class 8 clean room," Paolino said.
