US-based contract bottler Carolina Beverage Group has announced plans to set up a new plant in Fort Worth.
Carolina Beverage president and CEO Harry Barto said, "We're looking at a couple different locations in Texas and Oklahoma."
The company, which also produces a variety of other beverages, has a 160,000ft2 facility in North Carolina, US, star-telegram.com reported.
The facility has a capacity of more than 45 million cases a year, including the new can filling, batching, tunnel pasteurization, flash pasteurization, hot fill and laboratory technologies.
In 2001, the company expanded its operations to offer contract packaging services. It uses PET packaging for its beers.
