Nishimoto Trading Is Recalling Kotsubukko Snack Food in The Us as It May Contain Milk

Nishimoto Trading, a US-based establishment, is recalling Kotsubukko snack food in the US as it may contain milk, which is not mentioned on the label.

The product subject to the recall is 4.37oz Kameda Brand Rice Cracker Kotsubukko bearing UPC Code 0-74410-63018-8 with various expiration dates.

This product was distributed across California, Texas, Colorado, Utah, Chicago, and Hawaii in retail stores from November. 2012 to March 2013.

The recall has been initiated after it was found that the product was distributed in packaging that did not mention milk as an ingredient. The distribution of the product has been halted until FDA and the company are certain that the problem has been corrected.

No illnesses have been reported associated with the recall.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled product are advised to return it for a full refund. Consumption of this product may cause serious or life-threatening allergic reaction in people allergic to milk.
