Volvo Trucks has decreased its deliveries by 8% to 105,888 trucks for the full year 2012, compared to 115,346 units for the same period in 2011.
The company decreased its deliveries by 18% to 9,798 vehicles in December 2012, when compared to the same month last year.
For the full year 2012, the company's deliveries decreased by 6% to 43.129 trucks in Europe, when compared to 46,088 units last year, due to the continued economic uncertainty.
Deliveries in North America increased 4% to 26,222 vehicles in 2012, compared to 25,229 units in 2011.
Deliveries in Asia decreased 18% to 11,636 vehicles in 2012, compared to 14,224 units in 2011.
The company said that in Brazil, the weak economy continued to impact deliveries with deliveries in South America decreased 24% to 19,158 vehicles.
