Smoggy weather has affected large parts of China since last week, shrouding North China, southeast coastal areas and even Southwest China. The smog has led to high pollution readings in 104 cities across 20 provinces, covering nearly half the country. Due to the smog, shops in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, are facing a supply shortage of face masks. In the Yangtze River Delta, a growing number of poople suffering from respiratory diseases have poured into hospitals.
