Yangzhou Puppet Troupe has been awarded with quite a lot of awards including the "Wenhua Award" issued by the Ministry of Culture. So far the Troupe has a repertoire of over 20 plays, 10 plus performers with national senior title in the profession, and 30 odd performers with middle professional title. They put up over 1000 shows on average every year.
