The first 24-hour self-service library in Luoyang was put into trial operation on January 7th.
This special library is located in the West Kaixuan road,in front of the municipal library.
This self-service library was introduced by the municipal library.It aims to help shaping Luoyang to become a national public cultural service system demonstration area. The self-service library has sensing devices that can read reader's cards and ID cards, and also have slots for you to put in money and get your certificates. A various of 480 books are displayed inside the showcase and readers can borrow or return books at any time.
In addition,citizens can get a reader's card with ID Card and a guarantee deposit of 100rmb.The self-service library also provides about 200 electronic domestic newspapers to readers for free.
