The China Catering Internet and Brands Incubation Summit 2015 hosted by the World Association of Chinese Cuisine (WACC) opened On August 27 in Beijing.
Attending the opening ceremony includes the leaders from the trade department of the Ministry of Commerce, the External Cultural Relations Department of the Ministry of Culture, representatives from over 10 local industry associations, several experts and scholars specialized in catering internet, over 30 leading businessmen in catering industry and about 400 representatives of catering enterprises.
The participants contributed their own thoughts and achieved consensus on the theme of the integration and innovative development of the internet and catering industry. The summit was hosted by Xing Ying, Vice Chairman of WACC.
Yang Liu, Chairman of WACC, delivered an opening speech for the summit, saying that the combination of the catering industry and the internet is a revolution in the process of industry development and integration. The growth of Chinese catering industry is very critical for the Internet Plus Action Plan. It represents both a new opportunity and a new challenge.
Li Jiangtao, Professor of the Chinese Academy of Governance, and Ma Bin, Vice President of Tencent, also gave speeches during the summit, which received warm responses.
The Internet Plus Action Plan is an important strategic measure for China's economic development. WACC aimed at accelerating the development of Chinese catering internet and comprehensively advancing the Chinese food prospering proposal through this summit, so as to open up a new dimension for the catering internet.
