Yieh Hsing Enterprise, one of the major wire rod makers in Taiwan, announced that the company will follow up with China Steel Corp. (CSC)'s step and cut its carbon steel wire rod price for December. However, Yieh Hsing will only release the new price detail later in this week. In fact, some market participants expected that Yieh Hsing may only cut its December price for Al-killed steel and rimmed steel wire rod products and keep its price for killed steel wire rods flat as CSC only cut its low carbon wire rod price by NT$500/ton and kept most of other bars and wire rods price flat.
