It's reported that the transaction prices of China Steel Corp. (CSC)'s electric furnace (EF) Al-killed wire rods have dropped further in the Taiwanese market. At present, the transaction prices for CSC's EF Al-killed wire rods are at NT$23,500/ton. Previously, the transaction prices of CSC's EF Al-killed wire rods have stayed at the level of NT$23,500~NT$24,000/ton. Industry sources predicted that the transaction prices of CSC's EF Al-killed wire rods might remain weak in the short term due to poor market demand.
