Swedish softwood lumber and planed product exporters raised their April deliveries abroad by 1.5% against the figure for the same month of last year to approximately 1.011m m3. This made April the first month this year in which Swedish exports were higher than the reference figure for the same month of last year. In the first three months of this year, ex-ports in January were 10% lower, in February almost 7% lower, and in March even 12% lower than a year earlier.
