According to statistics of Venezuela's Central Bank (BCV), the products of construction sector registered variation of 5.4% in this May, while the same month last year was only 2.4%. In terms of last 12 months, it was increased 44.2% accumulated. The prices of rebar, mesh and structures registered an increase of 10.4% in this May, but this number was 0.4% in the same month last year. In mid of May, the government of Venezuela had meeting with productive sectors to discuss the difficulties. The construction sector said the main problems of them are: limitation of exchange USD, few local supplies of raw materials and production certificates.
