The "Ejector" Pop up Packaging Concept Has Already Won Awards

The “Ejector” pop up packaging concept has already won awards and high acclaim for custom printed issues for major customers like IKEA and B&Q.

Since the launch in 2012, the Ejector concept has seen success for its customers, including more than 2000% leap in gift card sales for Swedish telecom provider Telia, the month after the introduction.

However, until now, gift card malls and small or medium companies, without the budget for large quantities or need for branded packages, have not had the same means of utilizing the concept.

So most gift cards are still sold with a simple carrier, that can not be used as a gift card package, or with no package at all, despite the fact that consumers want and are willing to pay for nice gift card packaging.

To accommodate this demand, JakeBox has extended the range of preprinted stock Ejectors with new elaborate generic designs – among others an embossed crocodile skin design – and a small range of rigid pop up boxes too.

In cooperation with Swedish grocery chain ICA, a small scale sales test is currently being carried out, where these Ejectors and boxes are added to ICA’s Black Hawk gift card malls.
